Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Services Ltd are recruiting an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their manufacturing team.

You will read engineering drawings, measure, mark out, cut and fabricate sheet metal components, assemble to drawing specifications, operate sheet metal machinery, and weld with MIG or TIG when required. This is a reliable, hardworking role in an established, growing business offering a clear progression path.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Accurate measurement, marking out and cutting of sheet metal.
• Ability to work from drawings to fabricate components to specification.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Measure, mark out and cut sheet metal accurately.
• Fabricate and assemble components to drawing specifications.
• Operate relevant sheet metal machinery and workshop equipment.
• Carry out bending, forming, drilling, grinding and finishing operations.
• Carry out MIG/TIG welding where required.
• Work with materials including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets required quality standards.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
