Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join a growing bespoke fabrication business in Luton. You will produce high-quality sheet metal components and architectural metalwork for blue-chip clients, reading drawings and operating a range of workshop machinery.

The role offers training, progression, and enhanced holidays with overtime opportunities. The successful candidate will have sheet metal fabrication experience, read 2D/3D drawings, and operate

Qualifications

• Experience within sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Experience operating sheet metal machinery such as guillotines and CNC presses.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing bespoke sheet metal components and assemblies.
• Reading and interpreting 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Operating guillotines, CNC punch presses and CNC press brakes.
• Working from patterns and cutting lists.
• Fabricating frameworks and architectural metalwork.
• TIG / MIG welding where required.

In this role, you'll work across the workshop producing bespoke sheet metal components and fabrications, operating a range of machinery and working from 2D and 3D engineering drawings.

This role would suit a Sheet Metal Worker or Fabricator looking to join a growing business where they can further develop their technical skills and progress their career.

The Role:

• Manufacturing bespoke sheet metal components and assemblies
• Reading and interpreting 2D and 3D engineering drawings
