Job summary

K10 Apprenticeships Limited seeks a Safety, Health and Environmental Technician Apprentice for the Heathrow Shared Apprenticeship Scheme. The role blends office work with on-site visits to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements across operations.

You will contribute to implementing legal and company SHE standards, assist audits, and help maintain records while training toward a Level 3 SHE Technician qualification over 24 months.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 3 / D or above, or Functional Skills at Level 1 or above.
• Proactive approach with accountability for decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on health, safety and environmental requirements for operations.
• Develop, review and execute safe systems of work.
• Create and deliver training packages (e.g., toolbox talks & inductions).
• Investigate incidents and report findings.
• Undertake site visits to assess safety standards.
