Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated SHE Manager to join our Central team, providing proactive health, safety and environmental support across multiple divisional projects. You will champion compliance with legislation, promote a strong safety culture, and drive improvements while aligning with company requirements.

You’ll lead inspections, RAMS reviews, incident investigations, and environmental initiatives, mentoring colleagues and collaborating with the UK SHE team to deliver safe,

Qualifications

• Proven SHE experience across multiple projects and divisional teams.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and standards.
• Experience with RAMS and incident investigations.
• Understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• On-site experience and ability to influence safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective health and safety support across divisional projects.
• Promote safe working practices and a positive safety culture.
• Influence safety, health and environmental results across the business.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety monitoring.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; manage RAMS reviews.
• Mentor colleagues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with UK SHE team and stakeholders to drive value.
