Job summary

SES Engineering Services seeks an experienced and ambitious SHE Manager to join our SES Technology division, supporting high-profile mechanical and electrical projects across the UK data centre sector.

You will lead the Safety, Health & Environment strategy, drive risk controls, and coach project teams to embed a proactive safety culture from pre-construction through delivery while supporting bids and work-winning activities.

Qualifications

• Seasoned SHE professional with experience in high-risk construction environments.
• Experience delivering safety, health and environment strategies for large data centre projects.
• Ability to coach leadership and develop SHE teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of SES Safety, Health & Environment strategy across major data centre projects.
• Provide SHE guidance to project teams and senior leaders to embed a proactive safety culture.
• Develop and implement risk controls for complex mechanical and electrical works.
• Oversee CDM compliance and ensure best practice across projects.
• Mentor and grow SHE professionals as the division expands.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and supply chain partners to embed SHE considerations.
• Support incident investigations and continuous safety improvements.
