Job summary

SES Engineering Services is seeking an experienced SHE Manager to lead the Safety, Health and Environment strategy for nationwide data centre projects in the UK. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping a proactive safety culture and driving excellence in planning and delivery of complex M&E works.

You will oversee risk management, CDM compliance, audits and VMRs, and collaborate with clients and supply chain partners to embed SES safety standards across the project

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of high-risk construction environments.
• Specialist knowledge of mechanical and electrical safe systems of work.
• Experience in leading SHE teams and shaping safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SES Safety, Health & Environment strategy across major data centre projects.
• Deliver audits and Visible Management Reviews (VMRs) to drive performance.
• Provide expert guidance on risk identification, mitigation and operational controls for M&E activities.
• Ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation (CDM) and industry best practice.
• Coach and develop SHE professionals as the team grows and projects expand.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients and supply chain partners to embed SHE in planning and delivery.
