Job summary

SES Engineering Services is seeking an experienced and ambitious SHE Manager to join our SES Technology division, supporting high-profile, technically complex M&E projects across the UK data centre sector.

You will lead the development and implementation of Safety, Health and Environment strategies, advise senior leaders, coach teams, and help embed a proactive safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SHE strategy across large data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Ability to coach and develop SHE professionals.
• Experience in pre-construction, bids and work-winning activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the SHE strategy across major data centre projects.
• Deliver audits and Visible Management Reviews to maintain high SHE standards.
• Provide expert guidance on risk identification, mitigation and controls for complex M&E activities.
• Promote compliance with CDM regulations and industry best practice.
• Drive robust mechanical and electrical safe systems of work across projects and commissioning.”
• Work with project teams to integrate SHE into planning, procurement and delivery processes.
• Coach leadership teams to embed ownership and accountability for SHE performance.
• Develop relationships with clients and suppliers to uphold SES standards.
• Analyse SHE trends and deliver insights to senior stakeholders.
• Support incident investigations and cultural improvement initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop SHE professionals as the team grows.
