Kier Infrastructure is seeking a SHE Advisor to support Health, Safety and Environmental performance across highways Maintenance and Response Contracts in the South East. The role is based across Easton Lane, Coldharbour, Fareham or Weatherhill with regular travel.

You will undertake safety inspections, environmental assessments, support sustainability initiatives, lead investigations and help teams implement control measures to improve SHE performance. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Environmental qualification to at least Foundation level.
• Membership of an appropriate professional body.
• Strong understanding of environmental and health & safety legislation; knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role with environmental and SHE focus.
• Full driving licence is required for regular travel across the South East of England.

Responsabilités

• Undertake site, depot and office safety inspections across the region.
• Undertake environmental assessments for schemes and routine works across Area 3 and 4 network.
• Assist with sustainability initiatives through One Planet Action Plan and Driving for a Sustainable World strategy.
• Support teams to close out actions from investigations, near misses and safety observations.
• Advise operational teams on identifying hazards, assessing risks and implementing controls.
• Lead incident investigations to determine root causes.
• Collate and disseminate data on SHE performance for monthly reporting.
