Job summary

Vistry Group seeks a Safety, Health & Environment Advisor to support SHE governance across Wiltshire sites. You will help plan, deliver and review safety initiatives, ensuring adherence to group SH&E policies and relevant legislation.

The role emphasises in-person collaboration with flexible working options where possible. Key requirements include NEBOSH Construction (or equivalent), construction industry experience, and active involvement in safety management within residential or Tier 1

Qualifications

• Must have NEBOSH Construction or equivalent diploma.
• Experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in a Safety Advisor role within Residential Construction or Tier 1 Contracting.
• Member of a Professional Body, progressing to Chartered status.
• Experience in housebuilding desirable

Responsibilities

• Identify CDM responsibilities for each project and agree actions with Business Manager and Site Manager.
• Facilitate rollout of SHE policies and procedures to reduce risk and promote a positive SHE culture.
• Drive and promote the Group’s Behaviours through site visits and management forums.
• Support the ActivSHEQ database implementation and data input at site level.
• Assist SHE line management in implementing Group Standards and reporting issues on SHE compliance.

Education
