LOCATION: Chapel & Friary Walk

WORKING HOURS: 45 HOURS PER WEEK

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 out of 7

SALARY: £39,994 per annum

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

As the Shared Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Security and Cleaning teams at a high-profile Shopping Centre in Worcester. The role requires experience in security and cleaning systems, with a focus on service excellence.

ABM Services operates with integrity, prioritizing our employees and customers, and emphasizing transparency, quality, and proactive client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Manage the delivery of the contract in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Oversee all aspects of staff management, including training, health & safety, development, and welfare.
  3. Ensure all security staff hold valid SIA licenses and vetting is up-to-date.
  4. Build and maintain a skilled and diverse team equipped with necessary tools.
  5. Prepare budget forecasts and monitor expenditure to meet financial targets.
  6. Maintain high standards of service, adapting to operational needs and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  7. Provide support in service-related matters and client communications.
  8. Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and staffing levels to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  9. Lead recruitment, induction, and ongoing training, including customer service training.
  10. Conduct quality audits to ensure ISO9001 standards and client requirements are met or exceeded.
  11. Plan and deliver training needs, maintaining accurate site records.
  12. Prioritize incidents, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
  13. Ensure compliance with Data Protection laws and health & safety policies.
  14. Lead and motivate the team, conducting regular performance reviews and toolbox talks.
  15. Manage incident reporting, risk assessments, and all relevant documentation.
  16. Oversee cleaning standards, environmental objectives, and equipment maintenance.
  17. Maintain effective communication with all site parties, fostering a collaborative environment.
  18. Ensure expenditure is approved and documented transparently.
  19. Attend management meetings and promote ABM and client brand.
  20. Perform any other duties as required to meet client and company needs.
