Cornerstone is seeking caring individuals across Ayrshire, Glasgow, North Lanarkshire & the Scottish Borders to become Shared Lives Carers. You would welcome a person into your home, helping them live in the community with support, training, and regular contact from the Shared Lives team.

Carers are self-employed and receive a generous allowance with additional help towards household costs, plus opportunities to develop professionally through Cornerstone’s Training Academy.

Qualifications

• Must have a spare room and time to make a difference.
• Patience, empathy and a warm, welcoming approach are essential.
• Willingness to welcome someone into your home and family life.

Responsabilités

• Provide care and support to the person in your own home.
• Support daily activities and community engagement.
• Attend mandatory checks and safeguarding processes as part of the role.
