NHS Scotland is seeking a staff member to join the Support Services Team at Queen Margaret Hospital to provide sewing and linen services across the site. The role involves altering uniforms, repairing curtains, labelling patient clothing, and distributing linen trolleys to wards and departments.

We welcome candidates with practical sewing experience and an ability to work well in a team, with full training provided where needed.

• Has practical sewing skills and experience using sewing equipment.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive approach to customer service.
• Organised and able to manage a varied workload.

Mansioni

• Alteration and repair of staff uniforms.
• Adjustment and repair of curtains and privacy screens.
• Labelling and alteration of patient clothing.
• Occasional upholstery and soft furnishing repairs.
• Exchange, replenishment and distribution of linen trolleys within wards and departments.
