YTL UK is seeking an organised, proactive Programme and Project Coordinator to support sewer asset surveys across the Wessex Water region. You will plan, coordinate and monitor survey activities with technicians, contractors and stakeholders, ensuring safe, on-time delivery.
The role demands strong communication, meticulous record-keeping, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy field environment, with driving duties and compliance at the core.
You'll work across the Wessex Water region, covering Dorset, Somerset, Bristol, Wiltshire, and parts of Gloucestershire and Hampshire, playing a key role in the successful planning and delivery of sewer asset surveys.
Reporting to the Programme and Project Manager, you'll work closely with Technicians, Supervisors, operational crews and Task Controllers to ensure sewer asset survey works are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered.
A key aspect of the role is ensuring that both internal teams and contractors have everything in place to complete survey activities safely, efficiently and successfully. This requires proactive planning, strong organisation and excellent communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
You'll regularly liaise with customers, landowners, local authorities, Network Rail and National Highways, securing permissions and coordinating requirements to enable survey work to proceed smoothly.
Success in this role relies on your ability to plan ahead, manage multiple priorities and coordinate complex activities. Your preparation and attention to detail will ensure our operational teams can arrive on site with all necessary arrangements in place to carry out sewer asset surveys effectively.
You will be responsible for balancing and coordinating work from a variety of sources, including customer-driven requests, engineering support activities and network management programmes.
Working independently, you'll help ensure customer expectations, performance targets and key business objectives are consistently achieved.
