Kew Law in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Settlement Agreement Lawyer to join our employment team, focusing on settlement advice for employees. The role offers a regular flow of referrals and the flexibility of hybrid working with a preference for Wickford.

The successful candidate will advise on settlement terms, sign adviser certificates where authorised, and negotiate improvements to financial and non-financial terms.

Competenze

• Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or other qualified lawyer able to provide independent legal advice on settlement agreements.
• Experienced in employment law and settlement agreement work.
• Commercial, pragmatic and client-focused.
• Comfortable conducting appointments remotely and in person.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Mansioni

• Advising employees on proposed settlement agreements
• Providing the independent legal advice required to make agreements legally effective
• Signing adviser certificates where authorised to do so
• Negotiating improvements to financial and non-financial terms where appropriate
• Advising on restrictive covenants, confidentiality provisions and post-termination obligations
• Delivering excellent client care and efficient file management
