Mactech Inspection Ltd is seeking Setting Out Engineers for Days at Hinkley Point C, Somerset. You will mark and establish the position of concrete structures, foundations and other features on large construction sites.

The role requires reading construction drawings, surveying techniques and using precision instruments like total stations and Trimble GPS to ensure alignment with design specs.

Competenze

• 3 years proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on construction projects.
• Experience setting out concrete structures and foundations.

Mansioni

• Conduct precise measurements to determine exact locations on construction sites.
• Interpret construction drawings to guide the setting out process.
• Mark reference points and benchmarks on-site for activities.
• Use total stations, GPS equipment, and surveying tools to set out layouts.
• Setting out structures and supporting rebar and pre-pour inspections.
• Record survey data and measurements using total station or Trimble.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations on site.
• Identify and mitigate hazards related to setting out activities.
