Job summary

ECC Group is seeking an experienced Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer for a 12-month project in Middlesbrough. You will deliver accurate setting out, surveying and technical support to the project team, ensuring drawings and specifications are followed and quality standards met.

The role welcomes candidates from across the UK with accommodation provided if non-local. Immediate start and hands-on engagement on civil, groundworks and infrastructure works expected.

Qualifications

• Setting out and surveying to drawings and specs.
• Produce and maintain as-built surveys and records.
• Hit ground running and deliver accurate site support.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate setting out using Total Stations, GPS and surveying equipment.
• Establish, maintain and verify site control points, benchmarks and reference levels.
• Interpret construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Undertake site surveys, dimensional checks and engineering measurements.
• Ensure activities comply with drawings, specs and tolerances.
• Produce accurate as-built surveys and documentation.
• Support QA/QC procedures.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors.
• Identify and resolve setting out discrepancies and issues.
• Monitor engineering accuracy throughout construction.
