Our client, a leading company in the water infrastructure sector, is currently seeking a Site Engineer to join their team. This is a contract role based in Kenya, offering at least 18 months of work, with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out site surveys and inspections.
• Provide line and levels / set out for construction activities.
• Produce documentation for site tasks.
• Complete inspection and test plans.
• Carry out as-laid surveys.
• Liaise with stakeholders.
• Manage site teams to meet deadlines.

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience as a setting out engineer / site engineer.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure projects.
• Ability to lead site gangs and ensure deadlines are met.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Site competency cards.

Experience:

Experience working in utilities, preferably sewer or water projects. Knowledge of deep excavation and trenchless pipe installation methods. Experience in collaborative multi-disciplinary teams. Familiarity with digital technology and commercial awareness. Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.

This is a contract position offering competitive rates of £300 - £320 per shift CIS.
