Are you ready to build something from the ground up? Nixor is hiring for a leading energy provider as they launch a new DevOps capability within Quant Engineering. They need a Microsoft stack (C#, Azure, etc.) focused Senior DevOps Engineer to kick things off.

This is your chance to shape an entire DevOps function, set best practices, and lead the automation of the software development life cycle—from development to deployment, testing, and monitoring.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Automate and streamline the entire development pipeline—CI/CD, testing, deployments, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with software engineers to build templated DevOps solutions across different platforms.
• Work closely with Platform Operations, SecOps, and Test Teams to create fully automated, secure, and scalable environments.
• Lead and manage an offshore team developing middleware APIs to monitor system health.
• Engage with our community of Python and Machine Learning developers, promoting best practices.

What You Bring

• Experience as a Software Engineer or strong understanding of OOP.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud automation (Azure).
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes (desirable), Terraform (desirable), Git, and monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, or Application Insights).
• Proficiency in scripting, ideally with PowerShell and Python.
• Strong communication skills—able to influence, mentor, and challenge the status quo.
