Job summary

Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT) in Basingstoke is seeking a sessional English lecturer to deliver inclusive, responsive and innovative teaching on English programmes within Foundation Learning, including GCSE and Functional Skills.

You will engage learners, assess progress, and contribute to a supportive learning environment. The role is on a sessional basis with an hourly rate, holiday pay, and access to college benefits.

Sessional English Lecturer

English and Maths Department

Salary: from £32.56 basic hourly rate + £6.96 holiday pay per hour to £41.20 basic hourly rate + £8.82 holiday pay per hour (depending on skills and experience)

You will be delivering inclusive, responsive and innovative teaching and learning on a range of English programmes within Foundation Learning including GCSE and Functional Skills. You will constantly strive to produce outstanding teaching and learning at all times to ensure that all learners succeed in their chosen programmes.
