Job summary

Basingstoke College of Technology is seeking a highly organized Counselling Co-Ordinator within the Learning Support Department to oversee daily operations, logistics and client-facing functions of the counselling service, ensuring efficiency, security and professionalism.

You will safeguard ethical standards in line with BACP guidelines and support safeguarding policies; the postholder will work with students and staff, completing mandatory training and reporting concerns promptly.

Salary: 20,628.04 to 24,081.11 (pro rata from 37,653.00 to 43,956.00 - depending on skills and experience)

We are seeking a highly organized coordinator to serve as the vital link between our clients, counsellors, and internal teams, ensuring our counselling service runs efficiently, securely, and professionally. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operational, logistical, and client-facing functions of the department, keeping our services structured and responsive. Most importantly, you will safeguard the integrity of our practice, ensuring all operations align seamlessly with BACP guidelines and maintain the highest ethical and professional standards.
