Job summary

Altrad in Ellesmere Port seeks an experienced Services Estimator to own estimates from initial enquiry through tender submission and handover. You will produce take-offs from drawings and tender docs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Altrad processes.

The role requires collaboration with Commercial and Senior teams, strong analytical skills, and a focus on improving estimating accuracy and cost norms across the UK & Nordics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in an estimating role within engineering/ construction.
• Experience producing quantity take-offs from drawings, specs and tender docs.
• Strong understanding of commercial terms, conditions, and contract requirements.
• Experience collaborating with Commercial, Operational, Proposal, Bid, and senior management teams.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tenders to deadlines.
• Experience with estimating systems and analysing project performance would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of estimates from enquiry to tender submission and handover.
• Produce accurate quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications and tender docs.
• Maintain records in accordance with company procedures and AIMS.
• Collaborate with Proposal Administrators, Bid Coordinators, and senior management for timely delivery.
• Compile comprehensive tender submissions meeting all deadlines and governance.
• Develop expertise in areas of specialism and improve estimating processes across UK & Nordics.
