As a Services Account Executive (SAE) in our Services Sales Team, you'll play a pivotal role in redefining how we deliver value through services. You'll act as a trusted advisor, guiding organizations to unlock the full potential of the Microsoft Services portfolio and achieve meaningful business outcomes. As a SAE, you are responsible for proactively selling the entire Services portfolio—from delivering core value through Unified Support to accelerating impact with Unified Enhanced Solutions, and driving transformational change through Microsoft Consulting (ISD).

In this role, you'll work closely with customers to understand their strategic goals, co-create tailored service solutions, and help them realize their ambitions. Your ability to build trust, foster long-term relationships, and elevate the customer experience will be key to your success. Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain operational excellence & orchestration in pipeline management.
  2. Deliver operational deal excellence by managing collaboration time effectively and applying the MCEM qualification guidance.
  3. Own the sales cycle from account planning, pipeline generation through deal closure and expansion, ensuring efficient pre-sales processes and driving cloud consumption.
  4. Prioritize driving AI transformation through MACC, Enhanced Solutions, and Midterm Selling with CSAMs/ATS, as identified through the account planning process.
  5. Align customer conversations with business outcomes using BV/TCO analysis to build business cases.
  6. Lead customer sales discussions, value propositions, and competitive positioning.
  7. Actively listen to customers, understand their vision, and align solutions to meet their needs through consultative selling, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  8. Collaborate effectively with internal teams (ATU, STU, CSU) and partners to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities using a One Microsoft Approach.
  9. Position yourself as a trusted advisor to the account team and solution area peers.
  10. Engage in self-development to enhance solution-level discussions and knowledge across the Microsoft Services portfolio, staying current with MCAPS priorities like AI transformation.
Qualifications:
  • Sales Leadership & Strategic Planning: Proven success in co-developing transformation strategies, achieving sales targets, forecasting, and driving growth.
  • Professional Services & Solution Development: Strong understanding of service offerings, managing consulting engagements, renewals, and expanding service contracts.
  • Customer Engagement & Executive Alignment: Expertise in strategic account planning, executive reviews, and governance.
  • Technology & AI Enablement: Experience across the customer lifecycle, aligning services with AI and technical strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective at working across sales, technical, and customer success teams to maximize customer value.
