Job Description:

LMAX Group is a global financial technology company and the leading independent operator of multiple institutional execution venues for FX and crypto currency trading. The Group’s portfolio includes LMAX Exchange (institutional FX exchange and FCA regulated MTF), LMAX Global (FCA and CySec regulated brokers) and LMAX Digital (GFSC regulated institutional spot crypto currency exchange).

Our mission is to create a level playing field for all participants in the world’s biggest financial markets, through transparent, precise and consistent execution, based on robust trading technology.

We are looking for people who want to help us change the game, not just play it.

LMAX Group fosters inclusive recruitment practices. We are an equal opportunity employer as we welcome everyone to our team. We encourage people of colour, women, people from LGBTQ+ community, and people with disabilities to apply. Please let us know if you need reasonable adjustments at any point in the application or interview process.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the role

  • Lead integration initiatives across disparate systems such as SAP, SUN Systems, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms, with a strong focus on ServiceNow.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams — helping shape requirements, propose scalable integration approaches, and influence technical direction.
  • Automate and streamline business workflows to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Working with cross functional teams to develop integrations, automate workflows, and ensure seamless deployment across on-prem and cloud environments
  • Champion continuous improvement, particularly around integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka).
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, system documentation, and the creation of reusable runbooks and standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and technical stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver value-driven outcomes.
  • Ensure high standards in testing, documentation, and security compliance, partnering with QA and InfoSec teams.
  • Serve as a point of leadership within delivery teams – a natural collaborator, problem-solver, and advocate for best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations, including custom API development and integration with third-party platforms.
  • Experience with integration tools, including scripted and out-of-the-box REST/SOAP web services.
  • Familiarity with messaging middleware such as Kafka is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience working with SQL databases, cloud technologies (AWS or Azure), and ITSM best practices.
  • Proven consulting mindset — someone who is comfortable engaging with business and technical stakeholders, offering solutions and driving outcomes.
  • Understanding of ITIL practices (Incident, Change, Problem Management, etc.).
  • Willingness to commute to London headquarters 2-3 times per week
  • 25 days of holiday
  • Bonus
  • Pension contribution
  • Private medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Life assurance
  • Critical illness cover
  • Wellness contribution program with access to ClassPass
