Job summary

Hackajob Ltd in Leeds is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our tech team. You will manage patches, automate processes, and build workflows, catalogs, and UI components to support business needs.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT and 3 years' hands-on ServiceNow experience, plus ITIL knowledge and strong collaboration skills. We offer a competitive salary and flexible/remote working options.

Responsibilities

  • Apply patches and upgrades to keep ServiceNow up to date.
  • Automate application logic using workflow, scheduled script executions, and email.
  • Create and manage workflows, including Flow Designer, to automate business processes.
  • Design and maintain the Service Catalogue, including items, order guides, and workflows.
  • Build and enhance UI components, including forms, lists, and UI pages.
  • Write and maintain scripts for ServiceNow components such as business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other systems ensuring data flows seamlessly.
  • Develop and customize the ServiceNow Portal and applications per business needs.
  • Secure applications and data against unauthorized access, following best practices.
  • Maintain documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes.
  • Provide guidance to users on ServiceNow usage.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues and optimize instances.
  • Keep up to date with best practices and industry trends for ServiceNow.
  • Develop and maintain Domain Separation-enabled applications.
  • Develop reports and dashboards for data insights and monitoring.

Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require a bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • We require 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow Developer experience.
  • We require a proven track record of improving processes and effectiveness through automation.
  • We require a strong understanding of IT service management and the ITIL framework.
  • We require strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
  • We require the ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • We require at least 2 of the following certifications: Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Application Specialist (Performance Analytics), Implementation Specialist (Customer Service Management), Implementation Specialist (Service Mapping), Implementation Specialist (Discovery), or Implementation Specialist (IT Service Management).
Responsibilities:
  • We ensure the ServiceNow platform is up to date by applying patches and performing version upgrades.
