Version 1 is recruiting a ServiceNow Developer to join our managed service practice in a role focused on delivering value, innovation, and excellence for our customers. The ideal candidate will work on the ASPIRE framework, ensuring platform upgrades, automation, and integration with other systems to enable seamless data flows and improved business processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Developer experience.
  • Proven track record of automating processes to improve efficiency.
  • Strong IT service management knowledge and ITIL framework.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for cross‑team coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Must have at least two certifications from the list (e.g., CSA, CAD, Performance Analytics Specialist, CSM, Service Mapping, Discovery, ITSM).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the ServiceNow platform is up to date by applying patches and performing version upgrades.
  • Automate application logic using workflow, scheduled script executions, and inbound/outbound email.
  • Create and manage workflows, including flow designer, to automate business processes.
  • Design and maintain the Service Catalogue, including defining and configuring items, order guides, and workflows.
  • Build and enhance UI components, including forms, lists, and UI pages.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications, ensuring data flows seamlessly.
  • Develop and customize the ServiceNow Portal and ServiceNow applications in line with business needs.
  • Secure applications and data against unauthorized access, following best practices.
  • Maintain clear documentation of configurations and processes.
  • Provide guidance to users on ServiceNow usage.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues and optimize instances.
  • Keep up-to-date with ServiceNow best practices and industry trends.
  • Develop and maintain applications that support Domain Separation.
  • Develop reports and dashboards for data insights.

ASPIRE is Version 1 managed service framework that is currently transforming the way our customers consume services. The framework is continually evolving to ensure we are always delivering next generation services. Technology plays a key part in providing the underlying platform and capabilities. We are seeking a creative and experienced individual to join our team as a ServiceNow Developer.

What You Will Do
  • Ensure the ServiceNow platform is up to date by applying patches and performing version upgrades.
  • Automate application logic using workflow, scheduled script executions, and inbound and outbound email
  • Create and manage workflows, including flow designer, to automate business processes.
  • Design and maintain the Service Catalogue, including defining and configuring items, order guides, and workflows.
  • Build and enhance UI components, including forms, lists, and UI pages.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications, ensuring data flows seamlessly.
  • Develop and customize the ServiceNow Portal and ServiceNow applications in line with the needs of the business.
  • Secure applications and data against access by unauthorized users and applications, employing best practices.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes.
  • Provide guidance to users on the usage of ServiceNow in line with its design
  • Identify and resolve performance issues and optimize ServiceNow instances.
  • Keep up-to-date with ServiceNow best practices and industry trends to ensure efficient and effective use of the platform
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications that support Domain Separation
  • Develop reports and dashboards to provide data insights and monitoring capabilities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Developer experience
  • Proven track record of improving processes and effectiveness through automation.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management and the ITIL framework.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • At least 2 of the following certifications;
    • Certified System Administrator
    • Certified Application Developer
    • Certified Application Specialist (Performance Analytics)
    • Implementation Specialist (Customer Service Management)
    • Implementation Specialist (Service Mapping)
    • Implementation Specialist (Discovery)
    • Implementation Specialist (IT Service Management)
