Job summary

Bangura Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow HRSD Architect to assess and shape a public sector HRSD environment, reduce complexity, and design a scalable architecture aligned with enterprise standards.

You will lead reviews of customisations, identify debt, drive adoption of out-of-the-box functionality, and define governance and design patterns. This remote role requires strong stakeholder skills and proven transformation experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with ServiceNow HR Service Delivery.
• Strong understanding of HRSD architecture, platform governance, and enterprise design standards.
• Proven experience assessing and remediating ServiceNow environments.
• Experience leading platform transformation or optimisation programmes.
• Track record of reducing customisation and increasing adoption of out-of-the-box capabilities.
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and build alignment.

Responsibilities

• Assess the existing HRSD implementation, including customisations, integrations, workflows, and data models.
• Identify technical debt, unsupported design patterns, performance issues, and upgrade risks.
• Review HR processes against ServiceNow leading practices and drive greater harmonisation across HR functions.
• Lead the shift from heavily customised solutions to out-of-the-box functionality where appropriate.
• Challenge historical design decisions and develop plans to retire bespoke workflows, scripts, and catalogue items.
• Define the HRSD architecture roadmap, governance standards, architectural principles, and reusable design patterns.
• Design scalable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and ServiceNow’s product strategy.
• Establish a configure-before-customise approach, with clear frameworks for evaluating customisation requests.
• Identify opportunities to make better use of Employee Journey Management, Knowledge Management, Case Management, and HR Agent Workspace.
• Support HRSD design reviews, upgrade readiness, and release management.
• Present clear architecture recommendations and transformation roadmaps to technical and business stakeholders.
• Support the design of the ServiceNow HRSD Knowledge Centre, migrating and optimising HR content for an out-of-the-box, employee-centric knowledge experience.
