• Maintenance of vacuum and jetting systems on a variety of models and manufacturers.
• Identifying faults, diagnosing repairs, and determining parts required for all systems.
• Completing paperwork in a timely manner to the required level of detail.

Job description

We are seeking a Service Workshop Engineer to work 5 days a week in our Service Department in Peterborough.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairs to both Whale Tankers and Non-Whale equipment
• Maintenance of vacuum and jetting systems on a variety of models and manufacturers
• Identifying faults, diagnosing repairs and determining parts required for all systems
• Accurately identifying parts required and updating stock profile to improve first‑fix rates
• Completing all paperwork in a timely manner to the required level of detail
• Communicating with customers and providing accurate input to customer reports when required
• Identifying opportunities for additional work required
• Weekend working may be required to support customer contracts
• Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
• Adhering to health and safety and quality regulations
• Maintaining equipment calibration, service and inspection requirements in line with company requirements
• Providing input to customer quotations with parts and labour estimates
• Off‑site work where required to support field service demands
• Any other ad‑hoc duties as required
