Job summary

Pentagon Motor Group in Sheffield is seeking a qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our aftersales team. You’ll identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults on customer vehicles, using advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer data to deliver fault-free repairs.

With at least 3 years in a workshop and a full UK driving licence, you’ll help maintain workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction while supporting the technical development of the team.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in a workshop environment.
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults on customer vehicles.
• Work with advanced diagnostic equipment and technical data.
• Ensure accurate assessments and quality repairs per manufacturer standards.

Are you an experienced and qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician looking to join a supportive team, progress your career and work with an established brand? What You’ll Be Doing:

• Identifying and resolving complex mechanical and electrical faults on customer vehicles.
• Working with advanced diagnostic equipment and technical data
• Ensure accurate assessments and quality repairs are carried out in line with manufacturer standards.
• Support both workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction, while helping to develop the technical capability of the wider team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified to level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent

• Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy team
