Service Transition Manager x2 (remote in the UK)

I am recruiting for several Service Transition Managers to work remotely for a financial services client in the UK.

This role will be responsible for managing the introduction of change across services, ensuring decision-making aligns with principles that safeguard and protect live services.

Experience

• Improving live service quality by enhancing change processes, with a focus on end-user experience.
• Ensuring quality standards, especially non-functional requirements, are applied to all changes into the live environment.
• Defining and continuously improving the management system to identify, prioritize, and track service improvements raised through Service Transition activities.
• Experience with Release & Change processes.
• Experience with Change Management processes.
• Managing stakeholder groups across departments.
• Collaborating with Release/Implementation teams for continuous improvement of the release process.

Previous or current experience in Service Management, Release, or Service Introduction roles is essential.

• Background in management.

Championed risk assessment and mitigation strategies to address potential transition challenges and service disruptions.

• Creating service design packs covering SLAs, support models, RACIs, etc.

Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and services.

Knowledge of Project Management principles and methods.

Experience in a Service Management role.

Knowledge or experience with ServiceNow is desirable.

Hands-on experience in Release Management is a plus.

Understanding of the Financial Services industry is beneficial but not essential.

This role is fully remote within the UK, for a six-month contract, paying £300 - £334 per day via umbrella and inside IR35.
