Qualifications

• Motivated technician with strong technical ability.
• MOT Tester accreditation is desirable but not essential.
• Main dealer/franchised workshop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and routine vehicle maintenance.
• Fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair work.
• Vehicle preparation and safety inspections.
• MOT testing (where qualified).
• Completing electronic Vehicle Health Checks (VHC).

Vehicle Technician - Cars2

Working as part of an experienced aftersales team, you will carry out a wide range of workshop duties to manufacturer standards, including:

• Servicing and routine vehicle maintenance
• Fault-finding, diagnostics and repair work
• Vehicle preparation and safety inspections
• MOT testing (where qualified)
• Completing electronic Vehicle Health Checks (VHC)
• Maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy and customer satisfaction
• Following health & safety procedures and workshop processes

Working hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm + alternate Saturday mornings

• Ability to diagnose and resolve faults accurately

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of modern vehicle systems and electronics
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Desirable (not essential):

• Main dealer/franchised workshop experience
• MOT Tester accreditation
