Job summary

Konecranes in Reading, Slough or Maidenhead is seeking an Industrial Door Service Technician to install, service and maintain industrial doors and docking equipment across the South of the UK. You will report to the Operations Manager and work as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained or time-served fitter with NVQ level 3.
• Experience installing/maintaining industrial doors or barriers.
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Knowledge/experience of hydraulics preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work at height.
• UK driving licence.

Job Description

We are recruiting an Industrial Door ServiceTechnician, to be based in the area of Reading, Slough or Maidenhead. The purpose of this role is to install, service and maintain industrial doors and docking equipment within the South of the UK.

This role reports into the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have the following skills and attributes:

• Apprentice-trained or time-served/fitters mate route or equivalent (i.e.electrically NVQ level 3)
• Experienced installing and maintaining industrial doors or related industry, such as traffic gates/barriers.
• Electrical and mechanicalknowledge
• Knowledge and/or experience of hydraulics – preferred but not essential
• Ability to work at height
• UK driver’s licence
