Job summary

Lithia UK in Sunderland is opening a new Omoda & Jaecoo service centre and seeks skilled Vehicle Technicians to join our team. You’ll earn a basic salary from £37,381 to £40,194 with an OTE up to £43,254 and a £2,000 joining bonus.

We offer a flexible 4-day working week (45 hours), with 40 or 42.5-hour patterns discussed at interview. You’ll carry out repairs, including cam belt and clutch work, with a valid UK licence.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent is required.
• Experience completing cam belt and clutch replacements.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Demonstrated ability to work to high quality standards and exceed productivity targets.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles to high standards.
• Perform cam belt and clutch replacements and other workshop tasks as required.

FLEXIBLE 4-DAY WORKING WEEK AVAILABLE – Salaries are based on a 45 hour working week. Alternative 40 and 42.5-hour working patterns are also available and can be discussed at interview stage.

• Basic Salary from £37,381 up to £40,194 - Dependent on skills and experience
• OTE from £40,441 up to £43,254, with UNCAPPED EARNING POTENTIAL
• PTE ranging from £40,000 - £45,000 for Vehicle Technicians & £50,000 - £55,000 for Diagnostic & Master Technicians

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Experience of completing cam belt and clutch replacements
• Equipped with a full UK driving licence
• Technical knowledge to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles
• Experienced of working to the highest quality standards, with the drive to exceed expectations and productivity targets
• Capable of using systems and equipment within our workshop
