Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a service technician to maintain our equipment to the highest standards and consistently meet customer expectations. You will calibrate, inspect, repair, and service equipment, and attend customer sites to perform servicing and calibrations.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, independent work ability, and a focus on safety and accurate record-keeping. We offer real living wage, development opportunities, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Safety and detail focus when handling equipment.
• Ability to work independently and meet customer deadlines.
• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Experience in servicing and maintaining equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calibrating equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Inspecting, repairing and servicing equipment; removing obsolete labels and decals.
• Visiting customer sites to perform servicing and calibrations as required.
• Occasionally carrying out LCV driver duties.
• Maintaining equipment to high standards of cleanliness, functionality and compliance.

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing safety and comms division? We are looking for a talented service technician to join our team to ensure our equipment is maintained to the highest standard whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Calibrating equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Performing inspection, repair and servicing and maintenance of equipment, including the removal of obsolete labels and decals
• Attending customer sites to complete servicing and calibrations when required
• Occasionally carrying out LCV driver duties
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness functionality and compliance

What are we looking for?

• Good attention to detail, ensuring the safety of our equipment
• Ability to work independently to manage deadlines and meet customer requirements
• Full UK manual driving license
• Experience within a technical field
• Computer literacy to service and maintain records (knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is desirable)
• Experience in a hire environment is desirable
• Experience servicing and maintaining equipment is desirable
