Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a service technician to maintain equipment to the highest standards and meet customer expectations. The role involves calibrating gear, inspecting and servicing equipment, and attending customer sites for on-site calibrations.

You will work independently, manage deadlines, and ensure safety and compliance. A full UK manual driving licence and prior technical or hire-experience are desirable assets.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail to ensure safety of equipment.
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
• Full UK manual driving licence is required.
• Experience in a technical field is essential.
• Microsoft Word and Excel literacy is desirable.
• Experience in a hire environment is desirable.
• Experience servicing and maintaining equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Calibrating equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Performing inspection, repair and servicing and maintenance of equipment, including removal of obsolete labels and decals.
• Attending customer sites to complete servicing and calibrations when required.
• Occasionally carrying out LCV driver duties.
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality and compliance.

About The Role

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing safety and comms division? We are looking for a talented service technician to join our team to ensure our equipment is maintained to the highest standard whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Calibrating equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Attending customer sites to complete servicing and calibrations when required
