Job summary

Webrecruit is seeking a capable technician to service light vehicles in a busy retail automotive setting. The role requires a flexible approach, excellent communication, and the ability to manage workload effectively.

You will work as part of a small team, with training opportunities and a uniform provided. The position involves servicing vehicles to a high standard and contributing to sales of services and products. Hours are discussed at interview.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• To fit products to customer vehicles and perform ancillary services.
• To carry out repairs and servicing to a trained level on light vehicles after training.
• To increase sales of Company products and services in line with procedures.
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment.
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management.
• To adhere to Company policies and procedures.
• Uniform will be supplied and must be kept clean and presentable.
• To be available for work at the times specified by the Company.
• There are training opportunities to further your career within the Company.
• The role reports directly to the Centre Manager

Hours

The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting. The main objective of the role will be to service light vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own and should take a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard

Job Responsibilities

• To fit any product specified by the Company to customer vehicles and carry out a range of ancillary services to customer vehicles
• To carry out repairs & servicing to a trained level on light vehicles after successful completion of training
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• To adhere to the Company’s Policy & Procedures
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
• To be available for work at the times specified by the Company
