Job summary

Webrecruit is seeking a hands-on Automotive Service Technician to service light vehicles at our Warrington centre. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to manage their workload in a busy automotive retail environment and provide excellent customer service.

Training is available to progress within the company and contribute to high standards of workmanship. The role includes fitting products to customer vehicles, performing repairs and servicing after training, and opportunities to increase

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to manage workload in a busy retail automotive setting
• Experience working in retail automotive environment preferred

Responsibilities

• To fit products to customer vehicles and perform ancillary services
• To carry out repairs and servicing to light vehicles after training
• To increase sales of products and services in line with procedures
• To maintain cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment
• To comply with management instructions
• To adhere to Company policies and procedures
• Uniform supplied and must be kept clean
• Be available for work at times specified by the Company

The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting. The main objective of the role will be to service light vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own and should take a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard

Job Responsibilities

• To fit any product specified by the Company to customer vehicles and carry out a range of ancillary services to customer vehicles
• To carry out repairs & servicing to a trained level on light vehicles after successful completion of training
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• To adhere to the Company’s Policy & Procedures
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
• To be available for work at the times specified by the Company
