Job Title: Experienced HVAC Service Technician

Work Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Additional pay benefits for on-call rotation & overtime

Pay Rate: up to $40.00 + Per hour. We pay based on experience

Position Summary: To provide service and maintenance on residential and light commercial oil, propane, natural gas, air conditioning/heating systems, and boilers to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Pass background check & drug screen
• 5 + years of HVAC experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Work well in teams and independently
• Good communication skills between dispatch and customers
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, repairing, a wide range of residential and light commercial equipment
• Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas, oil, propane and electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless systems, and boilers
• Experience making repair and replace decisions
• Must be comfortable presenting and educating homeowners on systems and product
• Good understanding of all HVAC low voltage systems
• Proficient understanding in HVAC functional design and of ductwork modifications
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
• Willing to learn and further education
• Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies
• Able to accept responsibility and leadership roles
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Possess basic hand tools

Desired Qualifications:

• Certificate from a HVAC Technical School
