Job summary

Webrecruit in Crewe is seeking a Service Technician to service light vehicles and carry out repairs and servicing to a trained level. Training will be provided, and you will be part of a small team focused on safety and high standards.

Hours are Monday to Friday with potential weekend work; salary is dependent on experience and a comprehensive benefits package is offered. The role emphasizes excellent communication and customer service within a busy automotive retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Fit products to customer vehicles and provide ancillary services
• Perform repairs and servicing to trained level on light vehicles
• Increase sales of Company products and services
• Maintain cleanliness of the Centre and equipment
• Follow Management instructions and company policies
• Wear company uniform and present neatly
• Be available for work at times specified by the Company
• Role reports to the Centre Manager

Job description

Hours

The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting. The main objective of the role will be to service light vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own and should take a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard.

Job Responsibilities

• To fit any product specified by the Company to customer vehicles and carry out a range of ancillary services to customer vehicles
• To carry out repairs & servicing to a trained level on light vehicles after successful completion of training
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• To adhere to the Company’s Policy & Procedures
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
• To be available for work at the times specified by the Company
