Job summary

Eastern Western Motor Group is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. You will perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on engines, transmissions, and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

You will carry out diagnostics with tooling, document all services and parts, and submit Vehicle Health Check reports while upholding high quality and safety standards, aiming for reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Routine & Complex Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., oil changes, tyre rotations) and complex repairs on engines, transmissions, and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, use diagnostic tools to identify issues, and collaborate with colleagues to avoid unresolved faults.
• Parts Management: Recommend, order, receive, and install appropriate replacement parts, ensuring proper fit and functionality.
• Documentation & Reporting: Accurately complete job cards, document all services, repairs, parts used, and submit Vehicle Health Check (VHC) reports.
• Quality & Safety Standards: Adhere to quality control standards, ensure repairs are reliable and safe, meet efficiency and productivity targets, and maintain a focus on health and safety for yourself and others.]
