The shift pattern for this position is Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
This role is based at WestMARC, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital campus.
The role involves administrative support for clinical teams and patient groups within West of Scotland, coordinating clinical waiting lists to ensure timely appointments within the Board’s standards. Service Support Officers assist in delivering care for patients referred to and contacting WestMARC, including triage and coordination of repairs for Prosthetics and Wheelchair Patients. They also coordinate multidisciplinary clinics and domiciliary visits across West Scotland, including satellite locations within territorial health boards.
Applicants should have a higher education standard or equivalent experience, with background in administration or contact centre environments. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to interact effectively with the public, staff, and senior management.
