Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Stores Controller for a healthcare equipment provider in Irvine, Scotland. In this newly created role you will own service stock control, manage hire and loan stock, and ensure engineers have the right parts to keep operations moving across the UK.

You will work closely with engineering, procurement and warehouse teams, using Protean to maintain accurate records and drive efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in stores, stock control or warehouse operations.
• Background in engineering, service or technical environments.
• Experience using ERP or CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of service stock control, accuracy and reporting.
• Manage incoming and outgoing goods within the Service Department.
• Monitor and replenish engineer van stock levels.
• Manage hire and loan stock including tracking and invoicing.
• Process and dispatch service sales orders.
• Maintain accurate stock records using Protean and internal systems.
• Support engineers with parts identification and job planning.
• Maintain warehouse organisation, stock locations and housekeeping.
