Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is assisting a fast-growing manufacturing business in Irvine, Scotland, to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor to own a combined warehouse and production operation. You will lead hands-on, develop a small team and drive improvements so products are manufactured, picked and despatched accurately, efficiently and on time.

The role requires a proven track record managing a warehouse, production or operations team and a forklift licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a warehouse, production or operations team.
• Forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Warehouse Operatives and Production Technicians.
• Plan and deploy staff to meet daily warehouse and production requirements.
• Oversee goods in, picking, packing, stock control and despatch operations.
• Ensure customer orders are completed accurately, on time and in full.
• Manage stock accuracy, storage, labelling and stock rotation.
• Oversee the production and assembly of medical products.
• Maintain high standards of production and quality throughout the operation.
