The Service department with headquarters in Warrington, UK, is responsible for service and maintenance of all Vestas' wind turbines in the UK. The department has an open and informal culture where partnership and good communication are the key to good results. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and inspiring environment in a fast-growing industry.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Plan and schedule service and corrective orders, providing technical solution for technicians
  • Define resources needed for service orders, e.g. competencies, materials and tools
  • Apply technical solutions procedures and create technical work instructions
  • Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders (service technician, back office, etc.)
  • Drive continuous improvement in the planning process in terms of structure, process as well as strategic and long-term approach to planning future tasks
  • Support with Service Process Development and Ad hoc tasks


Qualifications
  • A degree in relevant area (e.g. engineering or technical area)
  • Preferably several years' work experience and have a technical environment alternatively wind turbine technicians/seniorly qualified engineer (e.g. mechanical or electrical)
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Good IT skills (MS Office, Salesforce, SAP, etc.)


Competencies

As a person, we believe you have/are:
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Interest in planning of wind turbines service and have an interest in doing the technical documentation
  • Good communication skills both oral and in writing
  • Good attention to detail and ability to keep track of many tasks at once
  • Can work in a time-sensitive situation, manage deadlines and be able to handle many variables and tasks
