Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Service Operations Specialist in Manchester to join our maintenance scheduling team. You’ll coordinate engineer appointments, communicate with customers, and ensure smooth execution of planned and emergency works.

Join a collaborative environment where you will support KPI tracking, work with Sales and Billing teams, and help optimize engineer productivity. Hybrid working is available (2 days/week after 6 months).

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail and urgency.
• Confident decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineer appointments and manage diaries.
• Communicate with customers via phone and email to confirm schedules and resolve queries.
• Order parts, secure purchase orders, and complete permits.
• Navigate multiple portals and internal systems.
• Collaborate with Service Managers to improve engineer productivity.
• Liaise with Sales, Billing, FM Helpdesk, and Subcontractors.
• Support KPIs and report to Planning Team Manager.
