Service Manager - Learning Disabilities/Autism Supported Living Services

Role: Team Manager
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Hackney, London
Hours: 38 hours per week
Salary: £41,170 per annum

We're excited to be supporting a well-established care provider in East London who is looking for an experienced Team Manager to join their specialist service for adults with learning disabilities and autism, including those with complex needs and behaviours of concern.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about driving high-quality, person-centred support and who thrives in leading and developing staff teams. You'll play a key role in empowering people to live more independently in their own self-contained flats and be active, valued members of their community.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage a supported living service aligned with the Transforming Care agenda.
  • Supervise and develop a team of support workers and deputies.
  • Embed a culture of Positive Behaviour Support and active support.
  • Deliver services that are flexible, innovative, and outcome-focused.
  • Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC and internal quality standards.
  • Maintain financial and performance targets.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years' experience supporting people with LD/ASD and complex needs.
  • 1+ year of team/service management experience in a similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Ability to write and implement support/risk plans.
  • Skilled in handling behaviour of concern with a PBS framework.
  • Confident communicator with a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary working.
  • Experience with staff development and rota planning.
  • A relevant qualification in Positive Behaviour Support or willingness to obtain it.
