Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Service Manager to lead a supported housing service for customers with complex mental health and learning disabilities. The role requires motivating leadership and accountable day-to-day management of care and support services to ensure outstanding outcomes for residents.

You will oversee a team, manage contracts, budgets and rotas, and drive continuous improvement through data reporting and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a team within a supported housing environment for a vulnerable and diverse group of customers.
• Ability to plan, prioritise, organise tasks to achieve results in challenging environments.
• Strong communication skills, able to encourage feedback and reflection to drive improvements.
• Conflict resolution skills; confident and consistent decision making.
• Experience reviewing, monitoring and evaluating outcomes in delivery of support services.
• Competent IT skills, including databases, reports and data analysis to drive service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage a team to deliver a safe, person-centred service and meet contractual performance targets.
• Manage the service with budget awareness and recruitment of staff or agency workers as needed.
• Deliver comprehensive induction and ongoing development plans for all colleagues.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and reporting of risks.
• Build partnerships with stakeholders to promote Riverside as the preferred provider in the area.
• Handle housing allocation, arrears and tenancy related obligations with a customer-focused approach.
