Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Service Manager to lead a supported housing service in Walton, Liverpool. You will ensure safe operational management, staff leadership, and compliance with contract requirements while delivering excellent outcomes for customers.

The role involves managing budgets, scheduling shifts, and coordinating with contractors, with a focus on customer-centred support within Riverside’s housing services framework.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a team within a supported housing environment.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organise tasks to achieve results.
• Strong communication and feedback skills with the ability to motivate staff.
• Experience reviewing and evaluating outcomes in service delivery.
• Competent IT skills including reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Line manage a team and set performance expectations.
• Develop and deliver induction and development plans for staff.
• Resource and plan a colleague rota covering shifts.
• Recruit staff and manage agency workers when needed.
• Produce reports and manage contract delivery documentation.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and risk management.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and Riverside colleagues.
