Job summary

ENABLE Scotland is seeking a dynamic Service Manager to lead Moray-based teams in Elgin and surrounding areas. You will oversee frontline staff, drive service improvements, and strengthen partnerships with families and social care professionals to ensure people with learning disabilities lead full, meaningful lives.

The role requires significant leadership experience, knowledge of Self Directed Support, and readiness to pursue required SSSC qualifications; driving licence essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of leading and managing Supported Living Services.
• Experience of managing teams with knowledge of culture change.
• Commitment to the inclusion of people with a learning disability.
• In-depth understanding of the Self Directed Support Act and its principles.
• SVQ Health & Social Care Level 3 is essential; SVQ Level 4 or willingness to work towards the required qualification for SSSC registration.
• A full driving licence with access to your own vehicle for business use.

Moray Services

35 hours per week

Our Moray services are based in Elgin and the surrounding area (Forres, Keith, Buckie).

You will lead a team of Team Facilitators and PAs to provide bespoke, human rights based, person centred care in line with the Enable PA model.

The support needs of the people who use the service are diverse and support ranges from a few hours a week on key days to full 24 hour support. The ideal candidate will have broad experience of supporting people along side a willingness to learn and acquire new skills and experiences.

You must have the passion and drive to take a lead role in continuing to improve the quality of the services we provide to the people we support and to effectively lead and support local Team Facilitators to manage our frontline support staff.

This role is pivotal to the success of our mission and ambition to support people with a learning disability to lead the lives of their choosing; lives that are full, meaningful and inclusive. A successful Service Manager will lead their teams to develop and maintain good relationships and communications with the family and Social Care professionals involved in the lives of the people we support.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:

• The ability to lead our business strategy at a local level whilst promoting ENABLE Scotland with an emphasis on growing our business.
