Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Service Manager to lead a supported housing service in Camden, London. You will provide motivational leadership, ensure safe operational management of care and support services, and deliver a high-quality, person-centred service for residents.

The role focuses on staffing, performance, collaboration with partners, and ensuring contractual compliance. Experience in mental health, community settings, and safeguarding will help you deliver outcomes while upholding Riverside

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working that is relevant to mental health.
• Experience working in community settings therapeutically, including assessments, designing interventions and demonstrating outcomes.
• Experience of developing clinical interventions for both staff and customers.
• Basic level of IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Take management lead in offering a broad range of support to people with mental health and complex needs; help them sustain their homes and live in the community.
• Recruit, support and supervise staff, setting and demanding professional standards of working.
• Oversee and develop effective working relationships with partners and commissioners, ensuring Riverside contract compliance and service reputation.
• Ensure delivery of a quality service reflecting best practice and adherence to legislation, policies and performance standards.
• Line manage a team; set expectations and performance targets; conduct six monthly performance reviews.
