Job summary

BRC are recruiting an experienced Service Manager for a respected supported housing provider. You will lead multiple supported accommodation services across Luton, Bedford and Central Bedfordshire, overseeing Team Leaders, Support Workers and operations to ensure safe, high-quality and compliant services.

We’re looking for a candidate with at least 2 years in management within supported housing or social care, strong safeguarding knowledge and a passion for improving outcomes for vulnerable

Qualifications

• 2+ years' management experience within supported housing, homelessness, housing management or social care.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and ability to support vulnerable adults.
• Experience leading teams, performance and service delivery.
• Knowledge of tenancy management, risk management and supported accommodation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of supported accommodation across multiple locations.
• Lead, motivate and develop Team Leaders and Support Workers.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred support in line with plans and safeguarding.
• Manage safeguarding concerns, incidents, complaints and tenancy issues.
• Conduct supervision, performance reviews and staff development meetings.
• Monitor service performance and ensure KPIs are achieved.
• Ensure plans, risk assessments and case records meet quality standards.
• Oversee tenancy management including move-ins/outs, arrears, evictions and voids.
• Monitor property standards, health and safety and procedures.
• Collaborate with Housing Benefit, Maintenance, Compliance and QA.
• Identify service improvements and implement changes to enhance operation.
